Where is the EcoFarm Guesthouse ?
The EcoFarm Guesthouse is located in Wenhai village. It is nestled next to Wenhai lake which is the first alpine lake at the south side of Jade Dragon Snow mountain northwest of Lijiang city. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is the highest mountain in the Lijiang area. The Guesthouse is a scenic, peaceful mountain retreat.
About our accommodations:
The Guesthouse has a total of six rooms; three rooms with private washroom 
and shower in a new farm house; three simple rooms in an old farm house with a shared bathroom with a hot water shower with flush toilet.
In the common area is a tea room with a Tibetan wood stove for our guests to relax in and enjoy. The tea room also has a rooftop patio with a view of the panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
Our dining room features a large Tibetan stove with large view windows of the glacier capped Jade Dragon mountain. The mountain's reflection can be seen in two spring fed fishponds. Dining can be enjoyed inside and out.
The traditional country-style Naxi dishes are served family-style and prepared by the top cooks in the village. Meals are vegetarian unless otherwise requested.
The Guesthouse is a great home base for hikers. The ambiance of the Naxi village offers a great way to relax after a day of hiking and sight seeing.

How to get there?
- from Lijiang, you can hike or travel by horse-back to the Guesthouse in about 3~4 hours or hire a car and arrive in an hour.
- from the lower Lashihai Lake, you can hike or travel by horse-back to the Guesthouse in 3~4 hours.

- Explore the village to visit and experience Naxi culture and traditional life
- Hike around Wenhai Lake and neighboring villages
- Hike up to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and other mountains which surrounds Wenhai village with locals as your tour guides
- Hike to Yi village at the foot of the Jade Dragon in the next valley
- Hike to the Tiger Leaping Gorge area
- Relax at the charming Guesthouse to enjoy reading, writing…
- Volunteer to teach English to children at the local primary school (can be arranged).
