Visit Shangri-La from Lijiang via the Tiger Leaping Gorge

Day 1 : Lijiang - Tiger Leaping gorge - Haba village 

From Lijiang drives about 5h to Haba village at the foot of Haba snow Mountain with many minorities: Naxi,Yi, Bai, Hui... On the way through the whole gorge. 
Night in guesthouse in Haba village

Day 2 : Haba village - Baishui Tai - Putacuo National Park - Shangri-La 
Drives about 4h to Shangri-La, on the way visit the Baishui Tai, National Park and Tibetan villages. 
Night in shangri-La 

 Day 3 : Shangri-La - Lijiang 
In the morning visit the Songzan Lin Temple, market and old town, then drive about 4h back to Lijiang.

The Tibetan minority

The Tibetans with a population of 5,416,021 mostly live in the Tibet Autonomous Region. There are also Tibetan communities in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. The areas where Tibetans live in compact community are mostly highlands and mountainous country studded with snow-capped peaks, one rising higher than the other.
Mt. Qomolangma on the Sino-Nepalese border is 8,848 meters above sea level, the highest in the world. The Tibetan areas are crisscrossed by rivers and dotted with lakes.
